OUR MUSIC

At Zan Recordings, we love all genres of music. We believe it's not just the category of music that matters, it's the message, its the cultural exchange and the effects it has on our brain and behaviour that is important.

We believe that the conversation around equality is an inclusive one, where all voices are welcome. In this generation, there is such a vast variety of music genres that a person can listen to. By accepting all music styles, it allows us to appreciate everything about the artists. We focus more on listening to the lyrics, the rhythm, and backbeats to a song.

It is amazing that without any words or point of reference we can hear music and instantly be transported somewhere else, and that we can appreciate and begin to learn about other cultures just by pressing play. There is something so powerful about music genres and how they shape our cultural identity whilst creating solidarity across decades, age groups and even countries. There are few things that we share around the world, across cultures and religions, but music is a beautiful commonality that we all love, appreciate and bond over. Across each nation, the music we hear showcases their declaration of values, history and culture.

Drawing together artists from across the globe, including the UK, Middle East and the USA, we support musicians in creating and promoting extraordinary and ground-breaking music. This allows for the very finest musicians, singers and composers, to be able to create the music they want in the way that fulfils them.

This is why we believe that all music is powerful. It's what makes each person different, and thus the music that they create. As women, we must support and inspire one another, we need to lift the music community with education, advice, connections, development and encouragement.

Our artists are the centre of everything we do and we keep creative control in their hands.
